WALK AGAINST WARMING 2008

SAT 15 NOVEMBER.

Join thousands of families, workplaces and communities in a walk for renewable energy and a safe climate future for our children. With vital decisions being made this year, we will Walk Against Warming to ensure the Australian Government supports strong, urgent action and justice for developing nations affected by global warming. The WAW will commence at 1PM in Federation Square with speeches given by prominent environmental activists on the urgency for climate action.

THE ECO-COMMITTEE WILL BE MEETING AT 12:30PM in Fed Square. IF ENOUGH MEMBERS ATTEND, WE WILL BE MARCHING AS A CONTINGENT.

All Eco-Committee members are encouraged to invite their friends and family along to this national day of community action.
